Hubby to @lilgeorgiapeach/Father to 7 strapping boys/ They are my world/Oh yeah, played a little baseball for the Atlanta Braves

Pretty good swing overall here. Wraps the bat around his head a bit too much. Velo may give him some trouble as the bat wrap makes it a bit longer swing. Work on the stability of his base. First swing….base collapses causing him to come around the ball. Bottle up the second swing!!! Base stayed stable throughout and u see the result. This young fella has a good start on a pretty swing. Well done…..hope this helps.
Hey @RealCJ10 , huge fans from Japan! My 13yo Cole is grinding to turn weak fly balls/grounders into consistent line drives in games. Any quick swing tweak or cue you’d give him looking at this? Hope to see you visit Japan someday! 🇯🇵⚾️

Agreed….Im 54 and I believe George is in his 70s. Very astute observation!

His — and your —- batting average would absolutely drop in today’s game due to better pitching and defense. George can be right on fundamentals and wrong in how results would be.

I concur…..what ‘gurus’ don’t understand is that most drills that are done, are over exaggerations to hit happy mediums. If my hands start above my shoulders, they have to come down to get on plane with the pitch. Well done getting this young fella to get on plane and not dump the barrel.

You can listen to Hall of Famer @RealCJ10 and work on hitting down through the ball to create backspin or you can listen to the #gurus whole teach the chicken wing and tilt technique. Yeah his first move is to drop down underneath the pitch….that’s causing the shanks. Ur gonna need to over exaggerate a drill in order to hopefully hit the happy medium. Grab a tee, have him put the bat flat on his shoulder, have him turn his shoulders, keeping bat pinned to shoulder….and swing. Once he gets the hang of staying on top of the ball, graduate to soft toss and live pitching. Hope this helps….

Well….I was gonna tell you to swing THROUGH the ball, based on ur cage swings. Then I see the HR swing and you swung through that one nicely. So I guess the only thing left for me to say young lady is…KEEP RAKING! Love the cage work….stay up the middle and to the off gap. Well done and most importantly….HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

This….
I need to make a very PUBLIC announcement on behalf of younger GenXers and older Millennials. If you see someone in their 40s or 50s who seems a little boring now, I need you to understand something... We already got it in. Like...GOT. IT. IN. We are not sitting home on a Friday night because we never knew how to have fun. We are sitting home on a Friday night because we have seen enough. We went to parties in houses that should have been condemned and were almost certainly owned by the local drug dealer. We saw police lights and RAN and not across a nice, flat field. INTO THE WOODS. Do you understand the athleticism required to hurdle uprooted tree roots in platform shoes while simultaneously trying to keep your low-rise jeans from sliding completely off your ass? And somehow...we never spilled the Zima. We never spilled the Boone’s Farm. That was TALENT. We slept on floors in strange houses because the designated driver either never showed up or, in a shocking turn of events, was drunker than everybody else. There was no Uber, Life360 or Find My Friends. There was just somebody named Mike saying, “I know a shortcut.” And we FOLLOWED MIKE. We closed down bars and then decided the night was still young, so we drove to Atlantic City, where we somehow managed to get drunk, sober up, get drunk again, sober up again and then get drunk a THIRD TIME before breakfast. And according to our parents? We were at Michelle’s house. Eating pizza and watching movies. Michelle’s mother unknowingly covered for approximately 17 people every weekend. If there even was a Michelle. We drank things called Purple Passion, Mad Dog 20/20 and whatever somebody mixed inside a giant plastic garbage can. Nobody asked what was in it. You grabbed a red Solo cup and trusted the process. We went to clubs until the lights came on. Do you know the psychological damage of seeing a nightclub with the LIGHTS ON? Nothing good happens after those lights come on. We danced for four straight hours in shoes that permanently altered the structure of our feet. We made entire plans without cell phones...no texts, dropped pins or group chats...just an extremely questionable sense of direction. We rode in cars with 11 people when the vehicle legally seated five. Someone was always sitting on someone. Someone was always in the hatchback. And there was always one friend yelling, “DUCK!” when we passed a cop. So yes...now we like being home. We like sweatpants. We like cancelling plans. We like saying, “That sounds fun!” with absolutely no intention of attending. We like restaurants at 5:30 because we can get a good table. We like being home by 8:17. And if someone texts at 9:30 PM and says, “What are you doing?” Sleeping...we are sleeping. Because this is not boring my friends...this is retirement. We already played, partied and danced on the bar. We already ran from the cops through a wooded area dressed like a Spice Girl. We have stories that cannot be posted because there are still people with careers, marriages and reputations to protect. And thank GOD there were no camera phones. So kids, when you look at your Gen X and older Millennial parents sitting peacefully on the couch watching Dateline at 8 PM and think: “God, you guys are boring.” Sweetheart...oh sweetheart. You are looking at retired legends. Put some respect on our names. We're probably the reason Life360 was invented. xoxoxo (posted from someone else on FakeBook) 🤣 #genx #oldandtired

Baze….this is awesome! Amazing what happens when you load everything into your back knee and back hip, and let it rip! Keep working hard girl….it’s gonna pay off. Pretty cool as an instructor when you see this reaction from a player. Love ya!

Ahhhh Doug Eddings….I believe I addressed his behavior and attitude a while back. Not surprising at all!

Good solid swing here! Young fell does a ton of stuff well. Good athletic address, nice base. Keeps his back knee bent all the way thru the swing, promoting good balance. Swings THRU the pitch, not TO the pitch. One suggestion….try to get him to load more into his back hip and knee. It’s hard to throw a powerful punch from a stagnant position….draw back to throw a good punch. Same with hitting a baseball. We cant all be Paul Molitor….HA! Hope this helps…

Boom….gorgeous swing! Love the rhythm he’s creating with his hands and the little rocking motion. Promotes relaxed muscles….relaxed muscles are quick muscles! Tense, stiff muscles are slow muscles. One suggestion…..make sure that stride foot doesn’t go too much toward shortstop, that the stride turns into a ‘dive’. When that happens, ur hips get locked up and it’s hard to swing free and easy to all fields. Love this young fellas’ swing! Hope this helps…
Getting off-season work in on a Friday night. @RealCJ10 what area(s) do you think he should be focusing on improving? Going into 13u and just started swinging a drop 5.

Ck this out. This HLP minion thinks that all the dudes that have spoken out in public (@RealCJ10 @JayGibbons15 @JoeyVotto @WillClark22) to debate TM have caved! Once again, total nonsense, ridiculousness🤪. Only wanna be’s who were terrible at baseball (and the best I can tell all the HLP minions are exactly that, were never good high school players… and likely never even made Little League All Stars🤔🤣….so 🤫🤐

Love this move here….reminds me of my dads’ teachings. Short, simple and efficient. Stride foot picks up and sits right back down. Minimal head movement. Bat is flat thru the zone for a long time. One suggestion….work on a wrist hinge, where the tip of bat cocks to the 12 o’clock position directly over his head. The tip of the bat in this clip is about 10-10:30. The wrist cock will help provide a bit more power. Beautiful swing tho…..hope this helps!

Not much done wrong on a homer! My advice?…. Keep raking! Young man does a lot of stuff right…. Loads into his back hip and knee….short, efficient, powerful swing. Keep him ‘down to it and up thru it’…..looks like he gets upper cutty at times. Kid loves to hit….fun to watch. Well done guys!

Not too shabby here for 10 yrs old! Love the toe tap. Could stand to work on some balance. Once he toe taps….slowly get him to reach with his front toe when he strides….which will keep him centered over his back leg, promoting better balance. Otherwise, pretty solid swing! Hope this helps….
