Individual Breakdowns from the @NextUpRecruits Camp. Lexington Christian SG Caleb Marshall. (@RealCMarshall) (NXN Top 20 All Star) I’d personally labeled Caleb as the best 3p Shooter in the state of Kentucky after studying lots of his film, and watching him in person at the @NextUpRecruits did not disappoint. He absolutely lit up the nets. Definitely the best shooter in the building. He’s got all the mechanics you look for in an elite shooter. Textbook perfect jumpshot. Hes as dangerous as they come when his feet are set in catch-shoot scenarios. But he showed off even more of his game. What impressed me the most was how much his ball handling has improved, with a stronger ability to breakdown defenders 1on1 and create space to get to his scoring spots on the floor. He defended well and made it tough for opposing ball handlers to get into a halfcourt rhythm, he set up his teammates well when initiating offense, and he knocked down his jumpers when needed. Caleb has really evolved as an all around scorer and combo guard. Look for him to take on more and more lead guard traits as he continues to progress his game, but he’ll always continue to be a dangerous shooter/scorer. Caleb will continue to be my pick for best shooter in Kentucky. coaches make sure you’re keeping up with him and his progression. My next highlighted standout from the @NextUpRecruits Showcase is @RealCMarshall, potentially the best shooter in the state of Kentucky, and that shooting fire was on full display against Team 23. Caleb tried to will his team to the win with 14 points, including four triples, as the sniper kept working for any opening the defense would give him. Give Caleb one inch of space, and he will make you pay, and he did exactly that by raining in threes and keeping his team fighting. Even in a tough 65-54 loss, Caleb showed why his shooting demands so much attention every time he touches the ball. His quick trigger and deadly touch from deep can change a game in a hurry, and leaving this sniper open is asking to get burned. @JosephDecker23 @BigBlueDylan @StarsNash_MBB
