UW’s 17-point comeback is its biggest since Oct. 28, 2006, when it trailed 21-3 at home to Illinois (18 points) before winning 30-24.
It also marks @BadgerFootball’s largest road comeback since Oct. 13, 2001, when it overcame a 17-0 deficit at Ohio State for a 20-17 victory.

Yes ... In a weird way, if PSU is truly #13 in the country, there are things to feel good about.
This defense will keep you in the game against average teams.
One possession it is a penalty. One possession it is a drop. One possession it is a bad throw. Cue up my tweet earlier about "it is always something" and being unable to play any level of consistent football.

I can see WIAA’s logic:
If you allow this school to cancel a game without forfeiting when a player dies, then the next time a school is facing a game with playoff implications they might kill a kid to get out of it.
So WIAA is really preventing murder…

I haven't been to a UW soccer game in over 25 years. My son and I went on Tuesday night and had an absolute blast.
These guys are really good!

If all they do is blindly follow the rule book with zero room for interpretation whatsoever, why have a board at all?
Just nail a sign to the door that says "read the rule book."
The Board of Control has to follow the bylaws that the schools set. They can’t just decide which ones they want to follow.
It’s a very unfortunate situation and it stinks for the kids involved. Maybe schools could amend the bylaws for future situations that come up.
