A3 opened the fall with a loss to Polk State College, but the 12-inning format gave us exactly what we wanted …a chance to bring a deep roster, get a number of arms on the mound for an inning, and give our hitters 3–4 at-bats against JUCO pitching. Our fall schedule is intentionally built to challenge our players with the highest level of competition we can find, with Florida JUCO programs throughout the fall. A lot of our guys are getting stronger and making noticeable jumps in velocity. Brooks Bartram topped 96 mph, Ethan Savinon reached 95, and 7–8 Trojans touched 90+ on the mound. Seminole State College next week!

The value of data in player development isn’t collecting more of it. It’s changing decisions because of it.

Year 1. Day 1. Chapter 1. The beginning of something special. A3 Jacksonville starts now.

YEAR 7 is officially underway at A3 Academy. Days 1 and 2 were about setting the tone for what this year will become: establishing our standards, baseline testing, introducing our player development process, and getting to work. This year, we’re taking another major step forward. With two locations, a dedicated Sports Science department, and more data being collected than ever before, our goal is to make player development even more measurable, more individualized and more intentional than ever before. We’re grateful to every family who has trusted us with a part of their player’s journey. Year 7 has begun.

YEAR 7. DAY 1. A new year. A higher standard. Our goal this year is simple: optimize the player development process. We’ll be documenting that process throughout the year: how we train, how we measure, how we evaluate, and how we make decisions…headlined by the launch of our new A3 Sports Science Department and A3 Core Operating System.
