BREAKING: Liberal MP Sean Casey was removed from his role as Parliamentary Secretary for supporting NDP MP Jenny Kwan’s bill to close a loophole in Canada’s arms sales regime that allows weapons to be shipped via the United States to Israel, a country that is still committing genocide against the Palestinian people.
It is shocking that Prime Minister Carney decided to change Liberal policy and punish one of his MPs for the simple act of wanting Canada to adhere to the values he touts so confidently on the world stage.
We want to thank MP Casey for having had the moral courage to support our bill. Ensuring that Canada is not complicit in war crimes should never be partisan.

Like the Mayor, you've also been involved in the slandering and defamation of your colleagues. And as a result those colleagues have also had online attacks and harrassment leveled at them.
Vancouver deserves better than that.
Like the Mayor, I’ve faced racist comments, harassment, threats, and even death threats over the past four years. These are just a few examples below.
They may try to intimidate us and silence us. But we will not be scared into giving up.
This is not the Vancouver we should accept.
We can disagree on politics, policies, and the direction of our city. That is part of democracy. But there is no place for racism, intimidation, or threats against anyone or their family.
We must continue working together to build a more inclusive, respectful, and united Vancouver and Canada—where everyone, regardless of their background, feels safe, respected, and has the opportunity to belong.
We will not be divided by hate.
We will not be silenced by fear.
We will not give up on the city we love!❤️

People by and large could move anywhere and start a life and essentially live there forever.
