Did the leader of the CONSERVATIVES actually say her party was too busy to notice the millions of immigrants that came into this country when they were in power? I noticed it just walking down my local high street.

Jesus said he would be betrayed three times before the cock crowed, the conservatives betrayed the British public saying they would reduce immigration to 10’s thousands at 4 elections. Judas at least did the decent thing. Only a madman would go 5 times!
Replying to @andywigmore
She didn’t actually say that. She criticized the Reform leadership, recognised Tories got it wrong and lost a lot of people to Reform and is now changing and fighting to win back their trust. It’s a tough pitch.

The Tories keep saying they “made mistakes”. Mistakes? You governed this country for 14 years. These weren’t a few bad calls around the edges. These were decisions that fundamentally changed Britain, some of them potentially forever. They left us with the highest tax burden since WW2. Now they talk about cutting taxes. They grew the state. They grew the Civil Service to historic levels. They let the welfare bill balloon. Now they talk about small government. They buried businesses, financial markets, property and housebuilding under regulation. Now they tell us regulation is strangling growth. No shit Sherlock. But who wrote it? They now say regulation stopped homes being built. Who wrote it? They milked Stamp Duty. Now they want to abolish it. Home ownership fell dramatically on their watch. Now they have the audacity to tell us they are the party of home ownership. London was one of the great centres of global finance. By 2024, the UK was down to 20th in the world for IPO fundraising. One of the greatest financial centres on earth decimated by a Conservative government. They enshrined Net Zero in law. Now they want to abolish it, apparently they just realised how damaging it is to our economy. Kemi said countries with expensive energy are poor. Who made our energy expensive? They allowed the Armed Forces to shrink while the rest of the state grew. Now they tell us defence is the first duty of government. Really? Was it not the first duty of government during the 14 years you were actually the government? They promised to stop the boats. They didn’t. They cut police numbers. They closed magistrates’ courts. They hollowed out the justice system. And while people were being robbed, burgled, stabbed or having their shops emptied, the Conservatives had the audacity to arrest people for tweets. And then there is immigration. They promised to control it. Bring it down to tens of thousands. Instead they gave us the Boris wave, just about 4 million people. Net migration reached levels Britain had never seen before. And this is exactly why calling these things “mistakes” doesn’t cut it. Because you cannot simply reverse years of mass migration. Some government decisions alter a country for a few years. The Conservative’s decisions altered Britain for a generation. Some may have altered it permanently. And please spare us the “new Conservative Party”. It isn’t. Kemi Badenoch was a minister. Chris Philp was a minister. Andrew Griffith was a minister and the Government’s Net Zero Business Champion. Claire Coutinho was literally the Net Zero Secretary. Richard Fuller was a Treasury minister. Alex Burghart was a minister. They were making the decisions. They had the power. They were the government. Governments don’t get to experiment on a country for fourteen years, fundamentally change it, leave behind damaging consequences that could last for generations, change the wording on the leaflet and demand that everyone treats them as the new management. These weren’t simply “mistakes”. They were deliberate choices. Choices that changed our economy, our population and the size and reach of the state. And some of those changes may never be fully undone. That is the arrogance of it. The belief that you can make decisions of this magnitude, fundamentally change the country, wait for the political wind to turn and then say: “Sorry. We got it wrong. Trust us to fix it.” No, you broke Britain and only Reform will fix it.

Why is Kemi acting like she didn't personally lobby for migrants to be allowed into Britain in unlimited numbers?
Kemi Badenoch says the Conservatives let 4 million people into Britain in 4 years because “ministers didn’t notice.” 21 of the 27 people in her Shadow Cabinet were those ministers. Her entire team is incompetent and can't be trusted.

STATEMENT: The man charged with murdering Ann Widdecombe with a hammer has now also been charged with preparing acts of terror against Nigel Farage MP. Today, a court heard he allegedly travelled to Nigel's home last year and tried to break in. A bottle of lighter fluid was found on the porch. This apparent firebomb attempt was investigated at the time. The police received CCTV footage of the incident. It has since been revealed that CCTV from Nigel's home captured both a suspect and their car "over an extended period". And yet, despite being in possession of that CCTV footage, the police claimed they could identify no suspects and closed the case. Read those last two sentences again. Counter-terror police have since referred themselves to the police watchdog, which is investigating a member of their staff. Why did it take the brutal murder of my dear friend Ann for the police to do their jobs? Anger does not begin to describe how we at Reform feel about this. The Police and the Home Secretary have serious questions to answer about how threats against Reform are handled. This is not going away.

🚨LEAKED: A Woman in Leicester has sent me this. Her granddaughter brought it home from Orchard Mead. This is what children are being given to read. The worksheet is called “What is far right?” The questions are who Tommy Robinson is, whether the Nazis were far right, and how social media is used to encourage support. The reading beside it is a BBC write up of the Southport protests, with Hope Not Hate quoted as the authority. Page 39. Orchard Oath at the bottom. That is not history. It is a sorting exercise. Concern about illegal immigration, a knife attack, and parents who do not want criminal illegal aliens dumped on their streets gets filed next to the Nazis. A school in Leicester is teaching children that the people who object are the danger, and that an anti racism research group is the neutral voice. No equivalent sheet on grooming gangs. No sheet on the boats. No sheet on what the Southport families were actually told. It is disgusting. Parents should see exactly what is being put in front of their children.

The allegations read out in court today pose serious questions for the police - Kerry allegedly drove the same red car to Nigel Farage’s house that he drove to Ann’s property. Did the police take the threat to Nigel seriously enough at the time?

Notice how Kemi has told none of “her story” here, which is pretty standard for a speech like this. It’s because her story starts in another country, and her rise in the Tories begins with being Francis Maude’s DEI hire who wanted to increase foreign aid.
Kemi is talking to herself in the speech. Nothing about the state of the country. Nothing about the lives of ordinary people.

Kemi claims the Tories are “learning from the past.” Is that why 22 of 26 of her shadow cabinet were in previous Tory failed govts?
This Kemi speech is genuinely dreadful. Just disjointed claims about “being back” while lauding very Westminster things like… convict Jeffrey Archer??
