Coastal flooding is expected to begin tonight and could be worst Saturday morning, especially in the Rockaways, around Jamaica Bay, and along Staten Island’s coast. If you live in a basement or low-lying area, know your exits and be prepared to move to higher ground if water starts rising.

The Stop Corporate Takeovers of Physicians Act would make it illegal for private equity, insurance companies, and other for-profit corporations to own or control medical practices.
It would also close state-level loopholes that private equity firms have snuck through, prohibit corporate interference with clinical decisions, and more.
