🇺🇸🦆 Last night, I attended the 2026 Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest Reception at @DucksUnlimited in Shelby County. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible. The winning artwork will be featured on the 2026 Federal Duck Stamp, which is purchased by waterfowl hunters and conservationists across the country. It was great to see DU President Dr. Rex Schulz, Chief Operating Officer Dr. Karen Waldrop, and Chief Policy Officer Zach Hartman.

It was a pleasure attending the 37th Annual @MemphisCAC Gala last night. I am grateful for the important work that they do in our community. It was good seeing @MEM_PoliceDept Chief of Police C.J. Davis and Assistant Chief Martin Kula. Thank you to Craig Weiss, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Memphis Child Advocacy Center, for the invitation.

🚨The Senate passed my Improving Social Security Service to Victims of Identity Theft Act. Americans whose Social Security numbers are stolen are forced to navigate a maze of government bureaucracy to restore their identity. My bill cuts through the red tape. It creates one dedicated point of contact at the Social Security Administration for identity theft victims.

Today, I was glad to host my annual Military Service Academy Day. 🇺🇸 Thank you to the students and families who attended, along with the service members and academy representatives who took the time to be here. I also want to thank Dr. Joy Bowser and Arlington Community Schools for hosting today’s event. I appreciate State Senators Ed Jackson and Paul Rose for joining us, as well as Cadet Zach Murphy, a Collierville High School graduate and West Point senior, for speaking with students about his experience.

This week during an @WaysandMeansGOP markup, I spoke in support of the ASAP Act. This bill would expand coverage for blood tests that can detect Alzheimer’s earlier. I am proud to share that this bipartisan legislation passed unanimously out of the Committee.

This week, I met with the Tennessee Automotive Association, including Lonnie Cobb of Lonnie Cobb Ford in Chester County. Thank you for all you do to support the automotive industry across the state.

Yesterday, I attended the Sultana Steamboat Disaster Commemorative Coin Act Event with Attorney Jerry Potter, author of The Sultana Tragedy: America’s Greatest Maritime Disaster. The Sultana exploded and sank on the Mississippi River in 1865 while carrying more than 2,000 passengers, making it the deadliest maritime disaster in U.S. history. While there, I also met actor @SeanAstin. Sean was the narrator and an executive producer of the 2018 documentary Remember the Sultana.

Contraband cellphones in prisons are being used to commit fraud, traffic drugs, and organize criminal activity. That’s why @SenTomCotton and I have led efforts in Congress to allow targeted cell phone jamming to stop the use of illegal cellphones. Our Bill, the Cell Phone Jamming Reform Act, would give correctional facilities the tools they need to block these illegal phones.

Today, I had the honor of speaking at the City of Covington 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony in Tipton County. Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the lives lost on that tragic day. We pay tribute to those who displayed extraordinary courage. Thank you to Covington Fire Chief Jeremy Channell and Police Chief Donna Turner for inviting me to be a part of this special ceremony.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the first responders and of the innocent people who never came home that day.   Our nation stands with the families who lost loved ones. We will Never Forget.
