INTRODUCING: The Pesticide Transparency on Federal Lands Act. Federal agencies spray pesticides on public land across this country, with no requirement to tell Americans what's actually being used where. Our bill requires all federal agencies to report pesticide applications on federal land within 5 days. The report includes the exact location, chemical, active ingredient, date, and the purpose of the application. This data is then transmitted to a public database anyone can access. Agencies are additionally tasked with disclosing past pesticide use pre-existing this bill. Any agency failing to meet these requirements will be vulnerable to civil action, carrying penalties of up to $25,000 for extended noncompliance. We introduced the Halting Online Nonconsensual Offenses in the Ranks (HONOR) Act to modernize the Uniform Code of Military Justice and expand prohibitions against the wrongful broadcast, distribution, or publication of intimate images, including AI-generated "deepfakes" and other digital forgeries. It covers real images shared without consent and fabricated ones alike. Consenting to an image being created never means consenting to it being shared. Our bill writes this into the UCMJ and holds predators accountable, with added protections for minors.
