I was saddened to learn of the loss of former Katy High School football coach Mike Johnston.
Coach Johnston built Katy into the powerhouse it has become today, including 3 state titles. We owe Coach Johnson a debt of gratitude for all the joy & pride he brought to our community.

Great work. No Texas voter should have their vote offset by someone who doesn’t actually live here - if they even exist.
🚨Texas law is CLEAR: You can't register to vote using a P.O. box as your residence address. You don't live in a 2x3 inch box!, 📦❌ but you can get your mail there!
When reports surfaced that voters were still registered at UPS Store P.O. boxes in Harris County, years after SB 1111 passed, I reported it to the @HCTaxOffice and @TXsecofstate under another of my bills SB 1933 to fix it..! SOS sent a list of 127 sites that had P.O. Box registrations from their last voter roll audit to TAC @ElectAnnetteR who told all of us that the review and cleanup is under way.
Watch this good story by @tomabrahams13 of @ABC13 including a good comment by Rice University’s @MarkPJonesTX on why Voter Registrars should be proactive in cleaning up the voter roll like I did in 1999 removing 50k deceased and felon voter registrations of whom 500+ were still voting in elections!
Voter Roll Intergrity is paramount to the public having trust in any election results and why I continue to pass legislation promoting it with both my #txlege @TXGOPCaucus and @TexasSenateGOP colleagues.
