The Price Tags Act is an important step forward in fixing health care by bringing real price transparency to patients. The Senate and the House must pass these badly needed reforms into law.
Today, I asked for unanimous consent on the Senate floor to advance our bipartisan Patients Deserve Price Tags Act — which would save families up to $1,000 a month in healthcare costs.
With only one senator objecting, we have a real opportunity to advance one of the most common-sense and cost-saving bills before Congress.
Patients deserve price tags, not surprise bills.

I made sure Mayor Matt Gentry @mtgent - and his records - are included this time in my oversight inquiry. Sounds like he’s heartbroken that the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) didn’t invite him to our meetings with local elected officials two years ago.
Today, Rep. Spartz sent a letter to @USGAO and @EPA OIG requesting an independent review of federal financing and environmental oversight of the LEAP water project, which could move up to 25 million gallons of water per day from the White River watershed to Lebanon.
