Oil companies are taking you for a ride. My new bill won't let them.

Sustainable agriculture strengthens communities. The education provided by the Empower School at Valley Dream Farm is instrumental in teaching about how this can benefit East Tennessee.

The United States is the world’s largest exporter of diesel fuel. Yet, our domestic stockpiles are at their lowest level in 30 years. It’s time we tell these oil companies to prioritize American consumers. My new legislation will do just that.

Let’s look at the timeline… ➟ We start an investigation and ask Mayor Bass to testify. ➟ She says she’s “unavailable.” ➟ She quits a few days later from the LAHSA governing commission. ➟ DOJ arrests people in LA relating to fraud with homeless services funds. ➟ LAHSA throws in the towel and decides they no longer want to receive federal funding. This doesn’t end here. Mayor Karen Bass must testify. Americans deserve accountability from everyone who looked the other way while their money went to fraudsters.

This is where your tax dollars are going, folks.

Today’s 9/11 Stair Climb Memorial was a reminder of the lives we lost and the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger. We will never forget.

25 years ago, our nation was under attack. Thousands of innocent men, women, and children were killed at the hands of terrorism. Countless lives were also saved by brave first responders and ordinary Americans who were helping their neighbors. Today, we remember their courage and sacrifice.
