Eight Navy personnel aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln have reportedly attempted suicide since the beginning of the ship’s extended deployment.
Service members and their families deserve transparency about the conditions aboard the ship, the circumstances surrounding these incidents, and what mental health support is being provided as they make their way home.
Their safety and well-being must remain a priority.
