My father as a young man. He died when I was 16. He taught me many things on the farm. "Get a good education and life will be better." He also said, "One thing you can count on in life--hard work." He was right both times! Happy Father's Day, Dad.

Enjoyed seeing the set list for the Stones concert Dublin. I've noticed that these lists differ greatly abroad from when they play the States. Same songs, different order. There has to be a scholarly study in there somewhere!
I only knew my mother for 19 years. She died before I escaped my teenage years. She never saw me marry, teach, write books. Her no nonsense attitudes, “Get an education, work hard, have love in your life.” She’s on the cover of my book. Thanks, Mom. Happy Mother’s Day.
