On October 7, we remember those killed by Hamas’ horrific terror attacks on Israel, including Australian Galit Carbone.
Our thoughts remain with her loved ones and all affected by Hamas’ abhorrent acts.
We continue to work to combat antisemitism and terror in all its forms.

I don’t think protesters should use October 7 to protest for Gaza.
The Hamas terror attack was horrific and it’s appropriate Jewish Australians use that date to commemorate and grieve.
Australians will have different views, but we must respect the right of others to grieve.

If that leads to violence, its on the perpetrator, not those resisting
I am appalled that a group of students should choose Globalise the Intifada as an SRC election slogan. Words matter. People should know that globalise the intifada can be a call to spread violence.
