UK banks have completed the first live customer transactions using tokenised sterling deposits, and they ran on the #GBTD platform built by Quant. Delivered through the Great British Tokenised Deposit initiative, convened by @UKFtweets with @Barclays, @HSBC_UK, @LloydsBank, @monzo, @Nationwide, @NatWestGroup and @santanderuk, the transactions included: ➡️ Two remortgage completions, with funds locked and released automatically at completion ➡️ A marketplace purchase from a private seller, with payment released only once the goods were exchanged Payments that execute the moment agreed conditions are met give customers more control and can help reduce fraud. More pilots are expected in the coming months, including digital asset settlement. A vicious, deliberate Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia began last evening. Nine-story residential buildings, a university facility, a shopping mall, and a boiler house were damaged. As of now, five people have been reported injured, and some residents were evacuated. In Lozova, Kharkiv region, a woman was killed in a drone strike. My condolences to her family and loved ones. Three other people were injured. Overall, the Russians struck 10 of our regions in the evening and throughout the night. Russia is not backing down from its escalation and is sending many signals that it is ready to expand the war. All of this is happening as the stability of the world has already been shattered by this war. We must continue pressuring the aggressor to bring this war to an end. Every response and every long-range sanction is part of the pressure that is actually working, and the world can feel it. But diplomacy must work in parallel. Apple posted a job listing requiring stablecoin expertise for payment roles, offering up to $280,000. This follows Samsung’s plans to introduce the same feature to Samsung Wallet. I have to put some bets down on chains that are gonna get adopted. I now know with certainty that ETH will not be the, in my view, the standard across all 11 sectors, primarily because a lot of people think it's too slow. They’re looking for much faster transactional speeds with variance of volumes. You can see that working on Solana and Avalanche. Avalanche has this multi-chain advantage which may be of interest to industry. There's a lot of interesting things going on so now all of us are gonna be forced to take on positions because we simply don't know. Investors make changes all the time. We're always rebalancing when the facts change.

We are in the rally now after the golden cross dump. A rally to a higher high and weekly closes above the 50W SMA would materially weaken the bear case. A rejection at these levels would still be in line with a bear market continuation
