Genius. Obviously the whole "married women won't be able to vote with the SAVE Act!" talking point is deeply misogynistic and total fear-mongering, it'd be a lie to say the process isn't laborious. Checkmate by Trump admin.
🚨 NOW: The Trump administration is launching a Super Intelligence site that will let Americans change their last name after marriage in ONE SINGLE FORM — which usually requires HOURS or DAYS to fix every government document "You'll be able to change your name right on the platform." "This would've taken weeks, multiple filings, different agency websites, if you even knew where to start." This is perfect! Saving Americans' time is INVALUABLE

"...the whole "married women won't be able to vote with the SAVE Act!" talking point..." , well, it's MISANDRIST, not misogynistic. The implication is that "the patriarchy" will suppress women, i.e., men will repress women, via potential denial of Constitutional voting rights via agency of the SAVE Act. The guy in the meme knows ALL about that racket... Have you all seen one of his latest bloviations? You know, the one where he says the world would be hunky-dory if only women controlled all nations' governments for a decent period of time.... Yeah, I paraphrase, but the point stands. Not to mention the fact that he changed his real name, Barry Soetoro, to the Muslim stage name ("staging"-where have We heard that term?) of "Barack Hussein Obama"...

You dumb bitch. You cannot legally change your name without a court order no matter what the shitstained pedophile says. Besides, the EO is invalid. There is no "Unites States".

My wife changed her name last week the old fashioned way. She was in and out of the SS office in 10 minutes and her new card showed up in the mail last night a full week earlier than expected. The left’s blatant lies were ridiculous before america.gov and even more ridiculous now.

This makes it easier for the trans people to update their name and sex on federal docs.

I'm confused. Everyone's worried about fraud but I can go on this website and change my name? With no drivers license, no social security card? What's to prevent me from changing someone else's name?

Doest change the birth certificate not matching their name, and that marriage certificates are not listed as a qualified document. Would still require purchasing a passport. Women are have problems getting real IDs all over the country for this same reason.

Myself, married for 18 years, my daughters and my husband’s birth certificates are all in our gun safe… had to have their birth certificates to get an SS card! And they all have passports. Mom knows where all the documents are!

No, it isn’t. It’s a recognition of the extra time and expense required of women who’ve taken their husband’s name at marriage. If you want the SAVE act, couple it with free federal ID for citizens including free name changes. Don’t pretend everyone is you.

Married woman. Birth certificate does not match my ID. Requiring marriage certificates and passports is a poll tax.

So thing is- I already legally changed my name w/ my birth certificate + marriage license when I got married. I am registered to vote w/ a “real ID” in my state as per the constitution 🤷🏼‍♀️ What problem are we solving?

Bullshit The documents necessary to make the change must still be uploaded This document allows the Federal government access to information they don't need but simply want But please do keep pandering to Trump I'm sure he'll pat you on the back some day

Replying to @Riley_Gaines_
Not that simple, dear. Still need to get all the documents to show the name, the name change, and photo ID. A man would not need to do that. And you really think combining AI and the government is a good idea?

This would mean more if there weren't several people in and advising this administration that have said on the record, several times, that they think the 19th amendment should be negated. What do you think one vote per household is? You're a fucking clown.

We’ll see if this name change functionality ever becomes real…. I heard the current plan is for women to go down to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in D.C. Then write their name change request on paper, put it in a bottle and send it out into the pool. Then wait…

ANY NAME CHANGE HAS TO BE FILED IN A COURT OF LAW OR IT ISNT LEGAL @realDonaldTrump @SenMarkey @SenWarren @USRepKeating those of us who actually pay the fees and go through a judge to change our names should not have to deal with some cheat website so Trump can get voters names.

I am a senior citizen, twice married and once divorced (40 years ago). To get my enhanced DL I had to travel 200 miles round trip, buy 2 money orders, and send one registered letter. It was a hassle but I survived. The average woman can do it too.
