Under Kash Patel, the FBI has lost more than 1,500 special agents, and counterintelligence squads in many offices are running at 50–60% staff, per NPR. Agents tracking Iran were fired just before the war started. One insider's description: "It's terrifying, honestly." npr.org/2026/10/06/g-s1-1455…

You’re Secretary of the… Treasury … right?
Iran has a new oil minister. Considering Iran has not loaded a single barrel of crude onto a vessel since August 25th, what is the oil minister managing?

MISUNDERSTOOD STORY Trump just expanded access to “tax-free” diesel. But for on-road use, his order initially tells Treasury to: DEFER THE FEDERAL EXCISE TAX. Then explore eliminating the obligation later. DEFERRED ≠ FORGIVEN. And diesel didn't hit roughly $6.50 A GALLON because of that tax. Reuters reports prices surged amid war-related supply disruptions and attacks on refineries. A tax change can reduce or postpone part of the cost. IT CANNOT CREATE MORE DIESEL. The order even tells USDA to protect farmers' access as more buyers gain access to dyed fuel. So measure the policy, not the announcement: HOW MANY CENTS PER GALLON DOES IT ACTUALLY SAVE?

Replying to @WhiteHouse
@WhiteHouse this is another giant lie. Trump alone has contributed almost a THIRD to our national debt of $40 TRILLION. He is bankrupting us and lying to us in the process.
Trump: “The dividends are happening if we win…The Democrats can’t do it because they don’t do tariffs, and therefore the country’s gonna go bankrupt.”

Trump doesn’t even know what his tariffs are doing. They’ve made the trade deficit WORSE.

Trump’s tariffs have also made prices for everything GO UP. He has no idea what he is doing. And he’s lying to you about the Democrats. He’s just a liar.
New from the New York Fed: "By February 2026, tariffs had contributed 2.9 pp to goods price inflation, and without them goods prices would have fallen slightly." About one quarter of every point in higher tariff rates shows up in consumer prices within one year. • A 10% across-the-board tariff yields a 2.6% rise in consumer goods prices after one year. • About two thirds of the increase comes from pricier imports, which get passed through quickly. • Another third comes from U.S. made goods, as producers face higher input costs and less import competition. This takes longer, about 6-12 months, to filter through.

Here we go again. Republicans are rolling out the “tough on crime” message for the midterms. There’s just one little problem with that. The president who is supposed to be the face of their “law and order” agenda has 34 criminal felonies, pardoned more than 1,500 January 6 defendants. Since then, at least 97 of those pardon recipients have been rearrested, charged or sentenced for other crimes. Seven have been charged with child-sex crimes. And it isn’t just the January 6 pardons. Trump’s clemency record includes convicted fraudsters and other white-collar criminals whose pardons wiped away restitution, fines and forfeitures to the tune of $3.3 billion. It’s the same lie they told you in 2024. And look where that got us. So when Republicans tell you they’re tough on crime, maybe ask them about the criminals their own criminal president keeps letting go. They’ve done nothing for you. in two years, but make your life worse. Check your registration. Have a plan. Vote. Because your future depends on it.

MAGA,!are you seriously going to vote for the Republicans when they do this? This is not the Republican Party of old. This is a gang of dirtbags now who will do anything to stay in power.
The Palm Beach County Republican party kept Mike Caruso on the ballot, and he was endorsed by Donald Trump, despite the fact he raped his 5 year old grandson. 🤬

Tariffs were pitched as the fix for America’s trade deficit. Instead… Last 20 Months: –$2.06 trillion deficit in Goods. 20 Months Prior: –$1.92 trillion deficit in Goods. The deficit didn’t shrink. It increased 8%.

Way to stand up for your values Mike Lee. They are all liars.
10 years ago today GOP Sen. Mike Lee: “If anyone spoke to my wife, or my daughter, or my mother, or any of my five sisters, the way Mr. Trump has spoken to women, I wouldn’t hire that person, wouldn’t want to be associated with that person, and I certainly don’t think I’d be comfortable hiring that person to be the leader of the free world.”

It is extremely rare to come across a player like @LaneJohnson65. Extremely rare In the spring of 2013, I found myself on a field in East Texas working out a young Lane Johnson. I believe he was 22 years old All these years later, to say I am proud of the career you built and the man you became would be an understatement. A Hall of Fame career. It’s been a privilege and honor to have coached you. I am so proud of you, Lane
