Today,I woke up to the bad news of the passing of one of Kiruhura District's pillars in matters politics & socio-economic transformation and my personal friend-Mrs.Mary Muhairwoha.
Mary Muhairwoha has been a true pioneer of Kiruhura District. She was the Vice Chairperson of the LCV,while in that position,Mary stood at the forefront of building a new district together with her boss-Mr.Philip Kamugungunu, serving from its very beginning after its creation.
Mary's contribution was more than a position or a title,it was a commitment to her people and to the growth of a new district that was just finding a way to stand on its own feet.
She served with dedication, courage and a deep sense of responsibility.
Today,we don't remember her,but we honour not only the leader she was,but also the inspirational legacy she leaves behind. The foundations she helped lay continue to speak of her selfless service.
Sincere Condolences to Mzee Muhairwoha family, the people of Kashongi Sub-county and the entire Kiruhura District.
I pray that her soul rests in eternal peace. Her service will not be forgotten, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of the people of Kiruhura.
