After watching @ponsdotfamily go from a $30 million market cap and doing nothing but watch it go up and up over the last 30+ days — this was mainly due to my overall investment thesis. With that said, I have decided to invest in two different launchpads on the Robinhood chain, with a simple thesis: 1.) There will be room for more than one winner in the launchpad sector. 2.) I believe the majority of launches are ghost launches, and the price action is primarily being completed by a market maker. Now, I'm not saying those two things are a bad thing — if done correctly. With what feels like 100 new launchpads launching daily on Robinhood, how in the world can I get this right? That's one of the reasons I picked two. I personally believe launchpads have both helped and harmed the industry, but the reality is they are here to stay. What I noticed in my due diligence was that 95% of launchpads basically have the same foundation and process. So I picked one that falls right within that 95% group, and I decided to pick one that falls in the 5% group — the one that is fundamentally different by process or principle. My first pick is just like most of the others. It's called @maddotrich. I see the possibility of this one being different and finding its place in the ecosystem. It was just released this week, and it looks promising and very well thought out. My second pick — which falls into that 5% group — is @tokenselect.
