I am very pleased to hear that girls have been prohibited from wearing headscarves at school in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The hijab, a symbol of women’s enslavement in Islam, has been banned. I see this as progress for individual freedom in the country. Today, in Azerbaijan’s Jalilabad district, girls who had been forced by their Islamist parents to wear headscarves were not allowed to enter school. I consider this an excellent development. This has already happened in France, and it is going to happen in Italy. It is wonderful to see it happening in the Republic of Azerbaijan as well. Islamists in the Republic of Azerbaijan—or anywhere else—should not be allowed to force young girls to wear the hijab. Any family that forces its daughter to wear this symbol of sexual slavery in Islam must be punished.

If that amounted to unlawful political activity by registered charities, this cannot simply be brushed aside. As a result, all 400,000 Palestinians were expelled from Kuwait. Gazans have infiltrated Egypt, bombed Coptic churches, and organized mob attacks against the local Christian population. Across the Middle East, ‘Palestinians’ are regarded as savages and dishonorable. Arabs and Muslims support them against Israel, but they don’t want to live anywhere near them.

This statement will do nothing to improve that standing.
