Why is Dual Flow Batch Auctions (DFBA) better for agentic trading? Feat @slx_fi who are implementing it on their PerpDEX. There will be two answers to that question. 1st -> a simple answer. 2nd -> a long one explaining it fully. Simple answer: Traditional PerpDEX oderbook FORCE trading agents fight on speed. DFBA allows them to compete on their intellect (strategy). Now, let's dive into how it really works. It's a really important theme, as there is a big limitation right now for any types of agentic trading -> you need to compete on speed; your bot should be insanely fast. Those seconds -> can change everything! They affect your % of good trades. Superluminal uses Dual Flow Batch Auction (DFBA) and not a simple perps orderbook. Orders arriving at the same window time are collected and cleared together with the separation of maker and taker orders. So, speed does not matter. Only matters: Price and size. Important -> all that happens insanely fast; you can't feel it physically. Comparison of flow Orderbook: Agent decides → TX signing → RPC → network → exchange → order book DFBA: Agent decides → submits order → batch closes → auction → best economic order wins So, what exactly happens with this flow? Your agents fight with their strategies and not with their speed. Whoever has the best strategy -> wins. OFC your bot still needs to get information fast and decide fast. But there is no biggest limitation on PerpDEX anymore -> everything is decided fairly by price and size. The most important question becomes "Who submitted the best price/liquidity?" And NOT "Who arrived first?" Now results of your agent are fully based on strategy and not on speed. This way, all your calculations for arbitrage, spreads etc - will be fair! This also affects the overall liquidity of the market. As you do not need to compete over speed, market makers will compete over price and size. Which leads to potentially tighter spreads and better liquidity. As a result of DFBA: 1. Liquidity is better 2. Spreads are tighter 3. No slippage 4. No fight over speed With DFBA, the best strategy wins, not the fastest execution.

Gg wp and bye. @cascade_xyz is closing. Even though they had a nice hype, nice pre-deposit campaign and enough marketing opportunities they lost their market. I did not believe in them though and deposited something like 10 dollars. By they way from my view it was fully a business problem. Not market, not hacks, but bad decisions. They HAD chance to be good. Let’s be honest. Many PerpDEX had much lower entry to the market, lower TVls, lower hype, lower amount of supporters and still managed to survive and be profitable. Do not forget, any Perpdex and crypto project is a business by the end. Not a project to help you to do something, but a company which solves your problem and earning money on the way. They really HAD chance to be profitable. And this is one more story for other PerpDEX managers to learn from. How can you lose even when you have some results. If you are smart enough, there are plenty of Perps stories where you can learn what to do and what not so. Very simple. Ofc, I’m sad for whoever lost money there, but I hope you calculated your risks and did not lose that much. Good luck!
