An important update from Hotstuff As we prepare for the next chapter in Hotstuff's journey, we'll be winding down our current trading operations across both perpetual and spot markets. We're working towards a strategic acquisition of Hotstuff Labs, subject to final agreements and approvals. The proposed transaction would bring our engineering team, trading products and full financial infrastructure, including our custom Layer 1, into the acquiring company. Our intention is to continue working on our vision and relaunch our product lines under the acquiring company's brand. We'll share more about the next phase as plans take shape. For everyone with positions or funds on Hotstuff, here's what happens next: • Perpetual markets will close on September 25, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time (14:30 UTC). You can close your positions before this deadline. Any positions still open at the cutoff will be automatically settled at the prevailing market price, with the resulting account balance available to withdraw. • Vault withdrawals will open only after perpetual markets closes. • Spot trading will remain available until September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (October 1, 03:59 UTC). You can sell your spot holdings and withdraw the proceeds, or withdraw supported assets to an external wallet, before this deadline. • Withdrawals through the app will also remain available until September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (October 1, 03:59 UTC). Please withdraw all remaining funds before this deadline. • After the app withdrawal window closes, you can request a withdrawal by opening a support ticket in our official Discord. Our team will be available on Discord to help with closing positions and withdrawals. To everyone who traded, tested, shared feedback and helped us build Hotstuff, we sincerely appreciate you. We know you put time and trust into this, and we’re grateful for the part you played in building it. We look forward to having you with us for the next chapter of our journey.
