Today, I’m sharing my personal experience using market-making bots for perpdex farming. As I’ve been posting here, I’m an avid perpdex user—specifically when it comes to DEX airdrop farming. I’ve been trading daily on @hibachi_xyz (my main farm for several months) for a while now. We’re currently in the point-distribution playoffs there; thanks to a lot of dedication, I’m in the top 50, and I firmly believe that effort will pay off after the $HEAT TGE! A few months later, I came across another platform that caught my eye for various reasons—though that’s beside the point right now—called @tradehotstuff. Through disciplined effort, and despite discovering the product only when it was already in Week 10, I’ve managed to slowly climb into the top 50 there as well. Obviously, each platform has a distinct dynamic for awarding points, and that’s where market-making bots come in handy. In my specific case, I dedicate a large part of the day to my job, so I can’t spend hours glued to the screen watching trades. On both platforms, "taker" orders yield more significant points, but that requires more screen time. So, how do I manage with my limited time? I started testing a few bots months ago, but the initial experiences were disastrous—I won't even go into the details here, as thinking about the wasted money just makes me sad.
