Great visit to the Montrose Rope and Sail Factory where the I-CWIK’s are manufactured.
All hand made by the super talented team of designers and technicians 👌🏼
🤨- Mmm……I’m struggling to understand this proposed alternative reality of the ‘feminist sport approach’
* ‘Men’s superior physique is contingent and socially constructed’….????
Seem to be challenging the science for the biological advantages of males vs females in sport 🤯🤷🏼♂️

Last night Boris Johnson insisted Brexit has been a success. By almost every economic & financial measure the Brexit he championed & delivered has been disastrous for the UK
Bloomberg has calculated that Brexit is costing the UK £100bn a year in lost output— that’s roughly £40bn less for the new Labour Government to invest in the UK - just think about that - it’s £40bn less to invest in our hospitals and our schools and our public services that we all rely on
and if that’s not bad enough a study by Durham University has found a primary factor in the sky rocketing number of small boat crossings was the decision to leave the EU without a returns agreement in place!
Boris Johnson has crawled out of the woodwork to join Nigel Farage in saying the UK needs a referendum on ECHR membership
If UK media is going to give him a platform to spout this boll**** it’s
up to all of us to call it out. RT this if you agree
Today is the end of the 'bathing season'. 🚫🏊 The day the government officially stops caring about your use of our waters...
From today, the Environment Agency will stop testing water quality at designated swim spots around England and Wales until May. But we know that surfers, swimmers, surfers, dippers and paddlers are still using the water. And due to the increase in rainfall over the next few months, pollution becomes more likely.
So, how do you feel about the fact that the government is turning a blind eye to pollution when it's more likely to make us sick? 🤒
We're calling for year-round testing 🧪 and the extension of the bathing season 📅 and we're pushing hard to get it.

Remember those funny headbands that Sifan Hassan and Eliud Kipchoge wore at the Olympics? A new study tests them. TLDR: they really do lower forehead temp and make you feel cooler, but don't change core temp. The effect on race performance is unclear.

A great paper by Swain et al. On the 6 gender biased barriers ( glass walls) that hold women back within the @DMS_MilMed 👏🏼.
This 👇🏼 💯!!!
‘Key to cultural change are our male colleagues who can advocate for women and promote working practices devoid of gendered advantage’
Raw sewage pouring onto the beach today in Cornwall 🤢
Yes, it had rained heavily for about an hour, but THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!
We need to #EndSewagePollution now.

The media in a frenzy about Sue Grays salary of £170k per year, for one of the most important jobs in the UK.
What about the CEO of British Gas, who last year took home £8.2 million, whilst all our bills rocketed? Where's the outrage there?
🤦🏼♂️…I’ll correct this for you:
Tom Banton sustained a potentially significant ankle injury in the warm-up …
Tomorrow he will go for an MRI to clarify the exact injury he sustained.
He was unable to fully weight bear and was clearly in pain, but player welfare was prioritised below winning as the team were desperate to stretch their lead. He struggled to walk to the middle at No.11. Poor advice.

Tom Banton rolled his ankle in the warm-up before day three of Somerset's County Championship title clash with Surrey.
Tomorrow he will go for an MRI, but today, with his team desperate to stretch their lead, he limped to the middle at No.11. Hero.
