On this Oct 7 anniversary I remember the horrors of perhaps the most vicious, closeup, personal atrocity in history. The barbarism is beyond comprehension. Cooking babies in front of their mothers, chasing down little girls, raping, beheading. It’s not even possible for such inhumanity to be in the right.
In response you have a country warning an area above terror tunnels to evacuate, giving them 2 weeks advance notice before destroying the structures from which they launched this horrific attack, and regular rocket fire from schools, homes, and hospitals. From which UN employees participate in terror acts.
Israel finally had their first full year without rocket fire. That was their goal. Not some phantom genocide. There are more people in Palestine today than on Oct 7, 2023. That’s not genocide.

Trump talks about gas prices over and over in his speech, he talks over and over about how dealing with temporarily high gas prices is a small price to pay to keep America safe. He talks about not letting Iran get nukes. Then he talks about LA and San Diego getting nuked, then adds, again, that it’s a small price to pay. Again. Reiterating what he already said multiple times. Gas prices are a small price to pay to protect America.
The left: “he said losing LA and San Diego to nukes is a small price to pay!!”

Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival.
She was shot while fleeing the party. At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said:
“I’ve been shot in the stomach, I’ve been shot in the arm, I’m losing blood. I’m going to die.”
Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life.
She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said:
“I’m going to die. I just want you to listen to me.
I love you, Yariv. You’re the best father I could have asked for.
Mom, stop screaming. Just listen to me. You are the best mother we could have ever had. Don’t forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die.
Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together. I love you.
My Maya, never forget—you are the treasure of my life.”
When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead.
With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road.
“Mom, they’re coming to shoot me again,” Libi said after lying down.
While her mother listened on the phone, shouts in Arabic could be heard, and then a barrage of gunfire.
It didn’t stop.
It kept going, until the call was disconnected.
And that’s how Libi died—with demonic beasts from the pit of hell standing over her and emptying a full magazine into her body.
Libi died with LOVE on her lips: love for life, love for her family, and love for her people.
Her memory will forever be a blessing.

Just as predicted: The Straight of Hormuz is back to pre-conflict oil transport volume, but gas prices are still high. Why? Ukraine has been bombing the crap out of Russian oil refineries for the last few months, which puts more pressure on U.S. refineries, which Democrats have been forcing to shut down in blue states both recently, and for decades. Ending the Iran conflict won’t fix the price of gas. Getting Democrats out of power in blue states will.
Blue California has gone from 20 to 12 refineries. Red Texas has gone from 27 to 34 in the same period, with some being replaced with new, higher capacity refineries.

Capitalism is just free trade. People mutually benefitting each other. The only thing that corrupts Capitalism is big government. Corporations have no control over you unless they can buy powerful politicians. The way to national prosperity has always been small government, and free trade.
You want something to be expensive, poor quality, less available, and corrupt? Put government on trying to make it cheap and available. Look at health care, college tuition, public schools, postal service, airports, housing, taxi service, child care, occupational licensing, used cars, new cars, gasoline…

If you don’t want your buildings destroyed, don’t build terror tunnels underneath them. Israel gave 2 weeks notice to evacuate before leveling this terror area.
Everyone is sharing the satellite pictures of Rafah and calling the rubble the whole story. Nobody is showing you what was under it.
This is Rafah. The red lines are the tunnel network Hamas built under the neighborhoods, and the video marks where it runs under stadiums, under mosques, under schools, under UNRWA compounds, under hospitals, under civilian homes.
The overhead is an illustration. The shafts and the corridors are not. The IDF filmed inside them. Concrete arches, bunks, stored gear, a city under the city, dug so the people above it could be used as the roof.
That’s why the blocks came down. You can’t leave a fortified tunnel grid under a border town and call the houses above it civilian. Hamas put the war under the kitchens and the classrooms on purpose, then sent the pictures of the kitchens and the classrooms around the world.
The satellite image is the surface. The reason is underneath it.
Gaza wasn’t destroyed because Israel felt like it. It was destroyed because the Islamic army that started the war built its base under the people it claims to defend, and then refused to come out.
