We drove alongside a pro-Palestine march displaying images of Kfir, Ariel and Shiri Bibas that read: “Kidnapped on 7th October. Murdered in captivity.” The police refused to ban the march, so the least we could do was educate those taking part. It didn’t go down well.

Today 3yrs ago one of the largest terrorist attacks happened on Israeli soil. It was an unimaginable horror against not just Jewish people but people from all over the world brought together to celebrate music at the Nova Music Festival. Whilst we remember the horrific events and mourn all those lost it’s also important as a non-Jewish person to recognise that we all have a duty to root out and challenge the rampant anti semitism across the world and particularly in the uk. Less than one hundred years ago we saw the worst genocidal atrocities solely based on Jewish hatred and a wish for extermination of the entire Jewish race. Some say it’s already gone too far here and it’s not safe for Jewish people to live in Britain & many have already left. We should be ashamed that we have allowed this to happen. I appreciate that our current govt have no interest in dealing with this but we have to ensure when the govt changes that those involved in this anti semitism are punished and a message is sent out that this will no longer be tolerated. Some people seem to forget how much we trade with Israel and of course their intelligence service Mossad provided us with intelligence in the last couple of weeks to warn us about a planned attack on USAF/RAF Fairford. I for one look forward to a moment where ourselves and Israel can return to the partners we have always been until this chronic govt came into power at home #novafestival
