🚨 Austria just answered on FSD Supervised.
Not a yes. Not a no. A holding pattern.
In a letter dated 29 September 2026, Austria’s mobility ministry (BMIMI) told a citizen this:
• Austria will not say how it will vote in the TCMV.
• The technical review is ‘not finished’.
• They are rewriting the Automated Driving Ordinance to include DCAS, manufacturer-neutral, not Tesla-specific.
• Even an EU green light may not switch FSD on in Austria the next day.
• There is still no date for the national amendment.
Slovenia, next door, already recognised the Dutch approval and started rolling FSD out to customers. Croatia joined the list the same week this letter was sent.
Eight EU countries have moved. Austria is waiting for Brussels and for its own ordinance.
New tech does not become safer by staying locked one border further north.
BMIMI, publish a timeline. Put DCAS in the ordinance. If the safety case is good enough for the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Czechia, Slovenia and Croatia, say what is still missing in Austria.

Three countries in one month. Same Dutch RDW approval. Same software. Same safety case.
Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, you do not have to wait for Brussels.
You can recognise the existing type approval now, the way these eight already did.
An EU-wide vote is not expected before December. Every month in between is another month of preventable crashes on European roads.
FSD Supervised is already on public roads in Europe. It does not become safer by staying locked behind a border.
Approve it. Let drivers use it. Let the data speak. 🇪🇺🇹🇷⚡️

Türkiye should be 8th.

🚨 Germany’s KBA just confirmed it is examining BOTH legal paths for Tesla FSD Supervised under Article 39:
1. The EU-wide TCMV vote on the Commission’s implementing act
2. National acceptance of the Dutch RDW provisional type approval, before that TCMV vote.
That second option is the route Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania and Slovenia already used.
This is the clearest official signal yet that Germany is not waiting on Brussels to start moving.
Six EU countries have already approved it. The safety data is public. The law already allows national recognition.
Germany, stop reviewing and start recognising.

Das Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt prüft aktuell beide Wege nach Art. 39 VO (EU) 2018/858:
1️⃣ Ausschussverfahren im TCMV (Art. 83 Abs. 2) – Abstimmung über den Durchführungsrechtsakt der Kommission
2️⃣ Andere Mitgliedstaaten können die vorläufige EU-Typengenehmigung bereits VOR der TCMV-Abstimmung auf ihrem Gebiet akzeptieren (Art. 39 Abs. 5)
Beide Möglichkeiten werden vom KBA derzeit geprüft! 🚀
Das ist die bisher klarste offizielle Bestätigung, dass der Weg über die vorläufige Typengenehmigung (RDW-Ausnahme) aktiv auf dem Tisch liegt.
