Detroit ranks 22nd in targets allowed to RBs and through the first two weeks they are allowing 6 targets and 4 receptions per game to opposing RB1s.
The main trend is his target volume. When Hall sees 4+ targets, he has cleared this line in 9 of his last 10 games.
He already showed that role last week against Green Bay, finishing with 5 catches for 63 receiving yards, which is a strong sign that the Jets are using him as a reliable outlet underneath.
Game script also supports the over. The Jets come in as 6.5-point underdogs, so there is a realistic path to more passing volume if they are trailing. That usually benefits running backs in the short passing game through checkdowns, screens, and quick underneath looks.
With Detroit allowing steady RB receiving volume and Hall clearing this number at a high rate when he gets 4+ targets, O2.5 receptions is a great volume-based spot.
