Filming Notice 🚨 August 24-27, 2026
A film production will be taking place at several locations on Burnaby campus, including the AQ Pond, Transportation Centre, Bennett Library and AQ hallway.
During filming, actors dressed in police uniforms may be visible in the area, and prop firearms will be used. Parking impacts will affect parts of Central Parkade and Contractors Lot. SFU filming staff will be present throughout production to assist with pedestrian flow and wayfinding.
RCMP officers will be present on Aug 25 and 26 during filming involving prop firearms. Thank you for your cooperation.
