Today, I volunteered with my family with Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Ventura County East Chapter. We helped assemble and deliver beds to children in need from three different families. 🛏️💙 Sleep is essential for healthy growth, learning, overall well-being, and success in sports. I’m so proud to support their mission: “No kid sleeps on our floor in our town.” I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help children in need and make a small difference in their lives. @PRHSSoftball is participating in a community fundraiser this year, partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace! @SHPbeds is a national non-profit organization that delivers and builds beds for kids who don’t have a place to sleep. Each kid receives a completely new twin bed, along with a mattress and comforter/sheet set. This year, our softball team is working to donate 50 comforter/sheet sets to Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The deadline to donate is September 9th, and we will be showcasing all of the donations at our game that night. The QR code to sign up for donations is attached below.
