This woman in the police station being questioned for the last 7-8 hours along with her 6month old baby is not a criminal. She is an independent journalist from Telangana! Rekha runs a small YouTube channel called MR Media. A small reel (that is now taken down) she posted critical of CM Revanth Reddy and family went viral. Basing on the complaint of a Congress worker, male police officials went to Rekha’s house late last night and gave her a notice. Rekha is not just a journalist, she is a mother of a six month old baby and a three year old son. While she left the toddler home, she had to take the baby along to feed. But apparently, she wasn’t allowed to feed the baby & even now the mother and the baby are at the Cybercrimes Police Station, Basheerbagh. From what the family tells me, she is being pressured to give her phone and the password of her YouTube channel 🤷🏻‍♀️ Yes! Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi are also fighting against women journalists mistreated by Delhi Police. But what do you call this? Isn’t this harrassment too? Can’t they see the little baby??? Why can’t they get the relevant orders from the Court to take her phones & logins, if it is so vital for the future of the state and its public? Why harrass them?

Two months ago, I purchased this Sony Home Theater with great enthusiasm. The sound was so amazing that I felt like I had spent my money wisely. But shortly after, the Home Theater broke down due to high voltage. When I took it to the Sony Service Center, I was told I would have to pay out of my own pocket to have it repaired. The question is, why are customers being charged for repairs when the product is still under warranty? A premium brand is expected to provide excellent service along with the product. But if the customer has to bear the cost despite the warranty, how can trust be built? After this experience, I will definitely think twice before purchasing another Sony product...1/2

I was detained by the Delhi Police’s Special Cell last evening from Central Delhi and taken to its Sadiq Nagar office in connection with a tweet I had posted against PM Narendra Modi. I was questioned through the night and released earlier today. I fully cooperated with the police, answered every question put to me, and will continue to cooperate with the process in every manner required. The Special Cell was created to deal with serious national security matters such as terrorism, counterfeit currency, narcotics and organised crime. It is, therefore, unfortunate that political free speech has reached a point where such a specialised unit has to spend its time and resources examining a political tweet. I have been asked to visit the Special Cell again tomorrow, and I will do so. I will also appear whenever required and extend my full cooperation. At the same time, this experience does not change my political convictions or my commitment to raising issues that I believe matter to our democracy. Our fight against vote chori by Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Gyanesh Kumar will continue, peacefully, democratically and within the framework of the law.
