📍Syria | Years of armed conflict led many families to leave behind their homes, land and livelihoods in search of safety. Together with @SYRedCrescent, @ICRC_sy distributed food and essential household items to 257 returnee families in Sheikh Sandian and Ghaniya, helping them meet some of their immediate basic needs.
After armed conflict forced them to flee for years, families are returning to their villages, reconnecting with their communities and beginning to rebuild their lives. This is how we\u2019re supporting them as they start over.

Over 250 families who returned to the villages of Sheikh Sandian and Ghaniya in southern rural Idlib were able to cover their immediate basic needs with the food and essential household items we\u2019ve distributed alongside the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.

After years without reliable water, more than 500 families in Al-Sahriya and Al-Khalidiya, rural #Hama, now have access to clean water. With @SYRedCrescent and Hama Water Board, the @ICRC rehabilitated a well using solar-powered pumping, helping restore & sustain water services.
