I get rent prices in Canada have sky rocketed and he has to put food on the table and after Khakanas was a commercial failure, his publishers asked him to write a more easy to read, action packed book series instead but did it really need to be in the Malazan world?--

See? There was never a secret evil editor that forced him to write a bad ending, it was always his own fault.
Had 15 years to write a good ending for the manga
Had 10 years to fix it for the anime
Give him another 100 years and he'll come back writing the same ending again.
Where does this "They didn’t let Kubo finish the story the way he wanted" myth even come from? The final arc of Bleach had the same exact issues the rest of the manga had, the fans just couldn't ignore them any longer because the "next arc is gonna be peak" cope no longer existed

The Crippled God (Malazan Book 10)
Not the ending i expected and i still need some holes filled, but very good in regard to what it’s been trying the accomplish since book 1.
This Series is undoubtedly one of the peaks of Epic Fantasy and I’m sad to leave it behind.

25% in and I’ve got to admit, The Crippled God is really good.
This is going to be a great final book.
