Honestly this was a big issue with the Wheel of Time TV show. In the books, the various nations had vastly different identities and feels to them.
In the show, they’re all the same because they’re all melting pots.
Another reason I'm against excessive immigration because if every place is diverse, no place is unique. You actually lose diversity in the world.
