Bikes have always been on Bloor & will not go away...let's keep these people safe and separate bikes from car lanes!
Only around 40% of rush hour traffic at Bloor and Shaw in Toronto is made up of cars. Before the bike lanes on Bloor, over 80% of traffic was cars. Now more commuters pass through the intersection, although raw number of cars has decreased. If you build it, they will come.

There are some signs of life/progress tho. Peep the Honest Ed’s signage. And Badiali’s + Book Bar are open on Markham with a big pet store on the way with pretty high visibility …might be bad news for Pet Mama down the street

Traffic flow is MUCH BETTER NOW overall than BEFORE the recent safety improvements!
Portland & Wellington have always had bad traffic. Now, I’ve noticed about 1/2 the volume of cars & the 85% of trips made on foot/bike are much safer = Win-Win! #BikeTO
