Back in the days when I was asleep, I would often see myself holding a pen and writing.
Sometimes, I would wake up and fling my hands, expecting the pen to fall, but nothing would drop.
Other times, I would clap my left hand against my right just to confirm there was no pen.
Occasionally, I would wake up in tears, wondering, What pen is this that I cannot see, yet I keep writing while asleep?
I never told anyone about this experience.
During my secondary school days, I made a brief attempt at writing, but I soon stopped.
Fast forward to July 2022,I came across
@opebanwo ,who was taught over two hundred Nigerians various skills and niches under the umbrella of βNaija Lives Matters.β
Inspired by his training, I wrote my first book and published it on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. Unfortunately, it was blocked for not meeting Amazonβs kindle standards.
At first, I felt like giving up,it wasnβt easy.
But something kept pushing me forward, the powerful words from
@opebanwo during one of the sessions, βThere are over two hundred people in this Zoom call, but I am speaking to only ten people.β
By the grace of God, I realized I was among those ten.
I picked myself up, wrote another book, and this time it went live on Amazon.
That single breakthrough opened the floodgates. I went on to write and publish books 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20.
Interestingly, from the moment I published that second book, the mysterious experience of writing in my sleep with an invisible pen completely stopped.
