ICYMI: Last week, my op-ed in National Review made the case for a responsible, surplus-driven budget framework that states should use to deliver meaningful income tax relief.

I will be liking every single Anakin Skywalker post I see come across the timeline. As a Anakin enjoyer since the age of 4 I am uniquely qualified to encourage each and every post on the subject
Was not expecting this but very cool: The White House is acknowledging Reformation Day.
“The Sacred Scriptures helped form the religious convictions that formed our young Nation’s founding ideals of God-given rights and individual liberty, a spiritual inheritance we honor as we continue to reflect on 250 glorious years of American Independence. The Bible remains a cornerstone of our Nation’s character and upholds our steadfast devotion to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Luke Skywalker:
No formal training. Walks into the first Jedi he meets and becomes a Jedi. Learns on the job.
Anakin Skywalker:
Recognized as a child prodigy. Full formal training. Constantly told he’s the greatest. Sent to do all the work while others sit on the council. Still denied promotion.

It's interesting that 51% of Democrats strongly support expanding the Education Scholarship Trust Fund. This could offer a path for bipartisan support of school choice expansion next session.
First, I would also argue the margin of error is more likely 3-3.3% rather than under 3%; again, making Darline more competitive with Andrews.
Second, if black voters turnout strong than in the last midterm (they've been turning out at lower rate); then this race is likely more competitive.
Lastly, MAGA voters are notorious for not answering polls. They're also notorious for turning up on election day in large numbers. Do NOT underestimate MAGA on election day. They will be the ones to decide this race.
One of the more interesting results on property tax exemptions for seniors from @scpolicycouncil’s latest poll.
The poll asked if property tax exemptions should favor seniors, young people, or treat all taxpayers the same.
Young people (ages 18-34) favored an equal policy at 48%, with only 21% saying young people should receive an exemption and 6% favoring senior exemptions.
Seniors (ages 65+) favored senior exemptions at 48%, with 30% favoring equal treatment and just 2% favoring exemptions for young people.
All age groups except 65+ had a majority supporting an equal policy. There’s a lesson in there. CC: @GreenPlusAnE@esaagar

Not sure how Conor Stallions caused Tennessee to blow that 4th down opportunity and then give up the fumble forcing sack to Dylan Stewart, but I’m sure some Vol fans will figure it out.
