@d1baseball has Sebastian Lippman (@FSUBaseball ) as their top @OfficialCCBL pitching prospect in the 2027 draft class for good reason. 2-pitch mix features MLB-ready FB, sitting mid/upper 90s with elite carry. 2nd pitch is a tight SL (83-86) that cape hitters couldn’t touch.

After seeing no in-game action this spring for @GoBearcatsBASE , Luke Kosko broke out for the @roleprechauns with a .349/.425/.674 slashline. Strikeout concerns exist (26.1K%), but the summer power surge is backed by impressive underlying metrics.

Alex Benevento (@BrownU_Baseball ) broke out this spring with an .897 OPS and followed it up with a .383/.516/.585 this summer for @NeersBase . His 1.101 OPS was 3rd among qualified hitters in @TheNECBL . Improved approach aided the breakout and may land him on MLB draft boards.

Andrew Lepine was DOMINANT this summer for @swampbats_keene (0.50 ERA, 0.78 WHIP, 18 IP). Primarily SN/SL, he draws ground balls ⅔ of the time. The submariner is an uncomfortable AB for any RHH, and @UCF_Baseball may have gotten another weapon for their reinforced bullpen.

Along with his 4-Seam FB and CH, Olivas also throws a SL (82-84, 2500+ RPM) and CB (75-78, 2450+ RPM).

After a strong summer with the @harborhawks to the tune of a 2.7 ERA thru 26.2 IP, RHP Raymond Olivas heads back to @UCSB_Baseball for his junior season primed for success. Olivas carries a true 4-pitch mix, notably a 90-93 FB w/ ++ride and an 82-85 CH that drew a 50% chase rate.
