Why do token launches still feel broken on Ethereum? 🧵 Think about what usually happens. A token gets deployed, people celebrates, the contract goes live. And then comes another conversation... "When is liquidity coming?" "Has the LP been locked?" "Who's providing it?" "When does trading begin?" And that's what got me thinking... are we calling something a launch before the market has actually launched? When you think about it... launching a token and launching its market are often treated as two separate events. First comes the token, and the market comes later. Somebody has to create it, somebody has to lock it, and everybody else just hopes it happens. And that's where I think the problem starts. If the market still depends on someone keeping their word later, has the launch actually happened? Or are we just trusting that the second half will be finished? Because if that's the case... we're not celebrating a complete launch but celebrating the start of a process. To me, a launch shouldn't end with: "Liquidity is coming." "We'll lock it later."
