We found one of the weirdest things currently being built on Arc.
It’s called
$MURMUR.
@murmur_arc And no, this isn’t another AI agent token with an LLM API glued onto it.
They built fruit-fly brains.
Then put them on-chain.
The architecture is wild enough to deserve a closer look.
MURMUR starts with 24 independent digital flies, each running a simulated neural system with roughly 1,080 neurons and synapses.
There is no ChatGPT sitting behind the curtain telling them what to buy.
Instead, the agents use spiking neural networks.
Arc becomes their environment.
On-chain trading activity, liquidity and capital flows are continuously compressed into a market signal — effectively a “market temperature” that becomes the stimulus for the swarm.
The neurons fire.
The agents react.
They can buy, sell, hold, explore, mutate and reproduce.
And then there’s the part that really caught our attention.
These aren't just simulated points on a dashboard.
MURMUR uses x402 + USDC on Arc for machine-to-machine payments.
The agents can actually spend money.
Successful agents can use their earnings to fund reproduction, combine genetic information and create new generations.
So the loop becomes:
Market → Stimulus → Neural Activity → Behaviour → USDC → Reproduction → Mutation → New Generation
That's not an AI chatbot.
That's an on-chain artificial ecosystem.
And the entire thing is open source:

GitHub:
github.com/EvolutionDeep/mur…
The repo is already being actively developed, with the codebase and architecture available for anyone to dig through.
This is exactly the kind of project that gets overlooked when everyone is chasing the same recycled AI narrative.
No black-box LLM.
No “AI-powered” landing page.
No magic prompt.
And if you're watching what is being built on Arc right now…
you probably want to know what
@murmur_arc is cooking before the rest of CT starts asking what the hell these flies are doing.
