ScreenshotOne is at ~$36K MRR and still growing.
I run a developer tool, and despite all the predictions from big accounts and influencers on X, I still see demand. New customers keep subscribing and are happy to pay.
What I am testing now:
1. Launched a hosted MCP server that gives AI agents screenshots and clean Markdown of any web page 👉 screenshotone.com/mcp/. The bet is that agents become a new kind of customer. Currently ~10 connections.
2. Started running paid ads. It is early to tell about the results, but it is costly. I like that I can experiment and get feedback fast.
And also trying a new format of updates? An unpolished/unscripted video, with pauses and filler words trimmed.

My business has been hovering around a plateau of ~$33K MRR.
I was lucky to sit down with Jason Cohen (@asmartbear) and discuss whether it was possible to grow it to $100K MRR and, if yes, how.
I showed him every metric: MRR, churn, cancellation reason categories, traffic by channel, conversion, pricing, usage, and more.
It wasn’t a discussion. Damn, was I knocked out. It was a masterclass.
Most of the time I was just listening, nodding, and realizing how much I still have to learn.
You will find it useful if you:
1. Have made your first sale.
2. Are stuck at a revenue plateau or just have high churn and can’t explain
3. Wonder whether it is possible to grow in your market to $100K MRR and beyond.
The most valuable thing to extract is not only the advice itself, but the way of thinking: how to approach the problem, find the bottlenecks, and generate good options for growth.

A little behind the scenes on MockDuo: putting a website on a 3D phone sounded like the easy part.
Just load the site in an iframe, right?
Except plenty of sites block embedding. And even when an iframe works, I need the page rendered at the right viewport size for each Duo screen.
So MockDuo uses @ScreenshotOneHQ to capture the URL twice:
> once for the outer screen
> once for the inner screen
Then I sample their colors to draw Safari’s bars and sidebar, so the chrome adapts to the site’s background.
Those images become textures on the 3D model.
It’s a static preview, but you can see how your layout fits on both displays.
That last bit took way more work than “paste a URL” suggests but it was fun 😂

Founders invent explanations of their wins and overall success which often doesn't reflect reality. And I do that, too. It is a human nature.
One of the benefits of building in public is that retrospectively I can double check my own current narratives.
For example, I believe that positioning made a ten times difference in my MRR: from $3.5K to $35K.
I check my posts:
1. I had a slow growth and didn't know who were my customers.
2. I realized who I can target and how. I made a bet and went all-in.
3. I have faster growth.
Of course, there is a lot more to the story: I worked on churn, marketing and so on. But without understanding my ICP, it would be a tough challenge to improve the product and market it.

I have sponsored a lot of directories, and it is often hard to justify the ROI, because you pay upfront and you don’t know how many visits you will get or how many of them will convert into paying customers.

Think of n8n as a visual programming tool. If that analogy is correct, why do you still code if you already have agents that can do everything?
