...Hello, #TVA? I have good reason to believe that the Ben Affleck of Earth 616 is a variant from another timeline; one where Kevin Feige wasn't a woke simp with a fistful of girlboss box office failures under his belt, and who actually made a Blade movie.
Ben Affleck says Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige is “a kind of genius”: “I can’t think of any producer in the world who can say, ‘This is what the audience wants,’ and be right, except for him.” Read the full cover story: wp.me/pc8uak-1lHTZ5

Granted this is true, they really didn't think it through. #Lanterns
John Stewart's lantern is officially called 'The Dark Lantern'. He is neither green lantern not yellow lantern. (Via; IG | comic)

Glen Powell knows to abide by #TheRuffaloRule
Glen Powell is staying quiet on politics in interviews because "over time I realized that politics divide people." "People trying to prove their point — for me, it’s the worst version of a conversation. I genuinely do not like the discourse. It’s not as healthy as it once was. [Engaging in politics] is not presently possible. I applaud people for jumping into those things and fighting for what they believe in. If I were a political person, I would be talking about it. For me, my calling is elsewhere.” (via Esquire) variety.com/2026/film/news/g…

#LindsayClancy supporters, is that you?
"Lanterns" writer Tom King on Hal Jordan's murder: "We had a big debate. It was like, 'Does Kerry Kane get punished?' Nothing could punish her more than the fact that she did that thing and she has to live with it. There's no, like, jail isn't worse than that."

Abby was infused with Gamma Radiation?
After all this time, we finally know the truth. Everyone wanted to know why Abby in The Last of Us Part II was so buff. Well, this panelist finally gave us an explanation: Abby was buff because she was angry.

It was one year and seven minutes ago today that my father died from Leukemia. To say that the calendar has sailed by would be an understatement. I'm still not sure if, or to what degree, I am still grieving, or how it has affected me over the last year. Greif is a necessary, yet insidious thing; makes you wonder, makes you second-guess yourself on your moods and reactions. I am trying to approach the day with the sort of sardonic humor that was part and parcel to my father's character, and thus my own, being the apple not far from the tree. But if I stop for too long, and really remember the day, it all comes back in a wave.

Am I wrong in thinking "oh, how the mighty have fallen" when I read this?
Paramount has enlisted Steven Spielberg to oversee the next live-action “Transformers” film: • Spielberg will oversee all creative aspects of the eighth movie in the franchise alongside longtime “Transformers” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura • Spielberg was one of the first meetings Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein took after becoming studio heads • Shia LaBeouf will not return, and other casting conversations are premature • Michael Fuchs’ script is set in modern-day, but all other plot details are being kept under wraps variety.com/2026/film/news/s…

#lanternsfinale It's almost poetic that #Lanterns was arguably the greatest exercise in narrative gaslighting that I have ever watched. Over and over again, characters in the show tell us how we are supposed to assess other characters, or how we are supposed to interpret events, despite what we actually see being said and done. We're *told* Hal Jordan is a bitter, broken-down racist and sexist who is terrible and everyone hates him. Yet Hal Jordan is the only character actually working to save lives, stop the villains, and behave reasonably. Despite being targeted for death by a town filled with acolytes to a genocidal alien Manhunter, we *see* him trying to protect these same townspeople from the Manhunter's death rays, and he never takes a single life. Yet he goes to prison for crimes he never committed, while the collaborating Sheriff and townsfolk go free. We're told John Stewart is ultimately a better Green Lantern than Hal Jordan; that he is effectively the Chosen One. Yet we see him lie to people, torture people, murder people, and try to con a city out of billions in tax dollars for emergency shelters he privately admits are unnecessary and pointless. He lets the murderer of Hal Jordan go free, and helps to cover-up the existence of another genocidal Manhunter on Earth. He then claims a power over Earth that he was not granted, fueled by a Lantern tainted with fear. But, no, he is the best Green Lantern, everyone. Hal Jordan ultimately wanted to die and doesn't mind that the alien-collaborating, murderously unstable mother of a hybrid alien monster will walk free. The writers told me how and what to think. And, seriously, who am I going to believe? The narratively incompetent, race-obsessed Lanterns writing room? Or my lying eyes?
