I have recently joined @CantonArmy and @TheNode_Network to discuss what we wee building at @SwapMonster_ and how we contribute to the Canton network foundations of keeping $CC deflationary. Every interaction on our includes an on-chain transaction which burns $CC which contributes to its economics.

Delivery versus payment is a settlement rule: the asset and the cash move together, or neither does. Neither side is left holding an unpaid leg. On Canton, a DvP app has to support atomic execution, privacy by design, and cross-synchronizer composition. That is how a trade works on Swap Monster. Size is requested as a sealed RFQ, so the quote stays private. The trade exists only when both legs settle. Cash and the asset move in one on-chain transaction, even when they are different instruments, with no custodian between the legs and no pool to slip through. This is how on-chain institutional flow works.

Why we're excited about mump2p, @get_optimum's fast data propagation protocol: Ethereum's networking layer hasn't moved much while execution and DA have. As blocks get bigger and validators spread further apart geographically, propagation speed and consistency set the performance ceiling for everyone. mump2p is RLNC-coded gossip running as a sidecar next to the node. Client config, signing setup and security posture stay as they are. GossipSub stays live underneath. We've been running mump2p on testnet for several months now and we've seen ~150ms average block propagation, roughly 6x faster than the GossipSub baseline. Faster propagation is the next level for validator performance, and we intend to stay at the forefront of it.
