As it is 4th Anniversary of the madness and lunacy of 'Covid' LOCKDOWNS, "TWO WEEKS TO FLATTEN THE CURVE"..., I want to re-share this with you.
I was fortunate to meet Nobel Laureate Prof Michael Levitt @MLevitt_NP2013 @Stanford and his son Daniel in Q1 2020 on Twitter1.0 after Prof Levitt's analysis of the Diamond Princess 🚢🛳️data in January 2020 appeared in the LA Times @latimes showing nothing catastrophic and totally manageable, so I contacted Prof Levitt.
Prof Levitt told me that as part of the "normal Peer Review process" of Prof Neil Ferguson's @imperialcollege London, Covid Model and Deaths Projections, Prof Levitt had received a copy to analyse and "Peer Review".
Prof Levitt told me (words along lines of) that: "buried in the small print" he had "found the crucial formula of assumption on which the whole model was based", being "...THE NUMBER OF CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF EXPONENTIAL GROWTH OF THE VIRUS...", which Prof Levitt told me "HAD NEVER BEEN ACHIEVED"!
Prof Levitt told me that he "submitted the Peer Review in he normal process" showing the mistakes and questioning the key assumption. THEN SOMETHING VERY STRANGE HAPPENED: Prof Levitt told me he immediately started receiving emails, messages and calls from 'colleagues' in the Science and Medical communities telling him along the lines of: "Stay out of it Michael", "Drop it Michael", "Leave it alone Michael", "Don't get involved Michael" etc. Very threatening.
Prof Levitt told me that, NOT IN KEEPING WITH NORMAL PEER REVIEW PROCESS, Prof Neil Ferguson's ICL Model was then published globally WITHOUT ANY OF PROF LEVITT'S QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS HIGHLIGHTING THE ERRORS.
- ALL SOUNDS VERY DODGY TO ME AS 'NORMAL' PERSON.... 👃SMELL TEST...??
Shortly thereafter in Q1 2020, I was fortunate to also meet ex Pfizer senior executive respiratory Dr Mike Yeadon on Twitter1.0 (now via @RebeccaUdon @HCimiez and his Telegram Channel) Mike told me that he had worked at Welcome Trust @wellcometrust together with then UK Gvt Chief Scientific Officer, Sir Patrick Vallance. Mike told me: "everything I know on respiratory, Sir Pat knows" and "everything Sir Pat knows, I know, and, Sir Pat is lying!" Mike explained the detail of why he knew Vallance was lying.
And so began my voyage on this.... QUESTION EVERYTHING!

The deception and lies did not begin with the Minsk Agreement. There is substantial evidence that U.S. Secretary of State James Baker gave Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev assurances in February 1990 that NATO would NOT expand eastward.
However, whether those assurances amounted to deliberate deception has been long debated. The declassified documents establish that the assurances were made. What they do not conclusively establish is that Washington deliberately intended to deceive Moscow when they were given.
There is NO QUESTION that James Baker actually made that promise in February 1990. On February 9, 1990, Secretary of State James Baker met Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in Moscow to discuss German reunification and the possibility of a united Germany remaining in NATO. Baker proposed that NATO’s jurisdiction would not move one inch eastward if Moscow accepted German reunification within NATO.
The American memorandum of the meeting records Baker saying:
“There would be no extension of NATO’s jurisdiction for forces of NATO one inch to the east.”
This was not merely a casual remark. Baker was exploring a diplomatic arrangement designed to secure Soviet acceptance of German reunification.

There was never just ONE argument against the COVID mandates. There were eight — stacked in series.
Maybe there was no emergency. But even if there was, uncertainty justified nothing. Even if the danger was real, humans are notoriously prone to apocalypse thinking. Even if we weren’t, the interventions didn’t work. Even if they did, their harms had to be counted. Even if the ledger came out positive, mass coercion creates out-groups and invites abuse. Even if none of that mattered, people could act voluntarily.
And even if EVERY wall above somehow fell, there was still the last one:
Our civil liberties are FOR the emergencies.

It’s another flavour of the “centralisation is always bad” rule that I’ve learned is at the heart of many of or modern ills.
ChatGPT has now a big problem.
Researchers at Oxford and Cambridge exposed a massive threat to large language models.”
They call it “model collapse."
Internet ecosystem is rapidly changing, and generative AI will soon contribute much of the text found online. This forces us to consider what happens to future iterations like gpt-n when they are trained on data scraped from the web that was already generated by an llm.
According to the research, indiscriminately using model-generated content in training causes "irreversible defects" in the resulting ai. the model loses the "tails of the original content distribution." in other words, it begins to forget the creative, fringe, and unique nuances of actual human writing, collapsing into a repetitive echo chamber.
This isn't just a chatgpt issue.. the researchers built theoretical intuition showing this collapse is ubiquitous across learned generative models, occurring in large language models as well as in variational autoencoders and gaussian mixture models.
Tech companies rely on scraping the internet for large-scale data to build smarter models. However, the paper warns that if we want to sustain the benefits of training on web data, model collapse must be taken seriously.
Ultimate takeaway? data collected from genuine human interactions is going to become increasingly valuable in a web filled with ai content.
