@SeanTPendergast @SethCPayne after the game yesterday I had the thought, I'd rather the Texans have a very good offense and mediocre defense than a crap offense and "elite"defense. It's what Dallas has and their game was more fun to watch. Am I wrong to think this?

I’m as much of a hypothetical draft dreamer as anybody on the radio, so I’ll entertain the “what if the season goes off the rails” topic. Sure. HOWEVAH, I can’t take anyone seriously that thinks Arch Manning Is number one overall, franchise-saver material. He’s barely a decent college QB right now.
The funny thing about this is you can make a well thought out argument for moving on from Stroud without falsely slandering his performance.
If the Texans legitimately get the #1 pick and decide they aren’t ready to contend now, they can trade Stroud instead of using all their cap space to pay Stroud and not being able to build around him, and reset the clock to build around Manning.
That’s if things really get that bad for the Texans.
