Important info about our project's security model.
TLDR: Releases are only published in our official repo, and make sure to verify your downloads as authentic.
You are the software authenticity assurance.
The foundation of @SeedSigner's security model relies on users taking on the responsibility to ensure they are running valid software -- because we use off-the-shelf parts, the hardware will run any code that you load on it.
Instructions on downloading and cryptographically validating that you have our released software can be found at:

The ONLY place where we release binaries is in our Github repo:

What we covered hands-on:
🧠 Multisig basics - why 1-key security is a single point of failure
🔑 Generated 3 independent seeds using @SeedSigner
📤 Loaded XPUBs & built a 2-of-3 multisig wallet on @SparrowWallet + @nunchuk_io
✍️ Created a 2-of-3 transaction on both wallets
🔄 Exchanged PSBTs between signers
✅ Broadcast the final signed transaction

Because this was deployed and then publicized without conferring in any way with the project, I’m also putting this out there publicly — I think the intention comes from a good place but it is a thoroughly bad idea. I would not use or trust this.

Don't trust verify, all open source, straight from Github.
It even guides you to build from source yourself under the "cypherpunk" option.
IMO this is the biggest adoption hurdle with SS, now way easier

I've received some messages saying that Pi Zero 1.3 can be difficult to source right now. This is just a periodic reminder that the Zero W is an acceptable substitute, especially b/c the @SeedSigner releases don't include the necessary code to operate the WiFi or Bluetooth. You can also optionally physically disable the board's wireless communications capability with very simple tools:

In the days leading up to the Midwest Bitcoin Summit, we’re highlighting friends and members of The Columbus Bitcoin Meetup who will be speaking at the event.

Sesi created SeedSigner to make “not your keys, not your coins” more than a slogan: an open-source, air-gapped, stateless Bitcoin signing device anyone can assemble from off-the-shelf hardware for under $50.
