Today, I toured Huckleberry House’s Transitional Living Program in Columbus with @SenJonHusted. The program offers both housing and counseling services for vulnerable youth — not simply warehousing the issue. This is a recipe for independence — not government dependence.

Having started my life in foster care, I know how important support is for young people transitioning into adulthood.   Today, I joined @SecretaryTurner at Huckleberry House in Columbus to see how they’re helping young Ohioans build independent futures.

House Democrats and Republicans want it.  Senate Republicans want it.   Senate Democrats are the only ones standing in the way of this bill becoming law. Let’s get it done.
