This year, Nebraska has experienced historic wildfires. I recently had the chance to tour some of the damage. I also met with heroic Nebraska firefighters who fought these fires. They shared how we can work together to support local law enforcement and recovery efforts.

Recently, the House passed the Ratepayer Protection Act. It would protect Nebraskans from having to foot the bill for data centers.
I cosponsored this bill in the Senate. It’s terrible that Senate Democrats blocked its passage.
When it comes to data centers, state and local communities should be in the driver’s seat to make the decisions that are best for their families and businesses. Americans deserve transparency about data centers in their communities.

For too long, Communist China has undercut Nebraska’s farmers and ranchers.
With Xi Jinping in town, I sent a letter to the administration advocating for Nebraska’s beef and soybean producers. I urged the admin to hold Communist China accountable to trade commitments and ensure our producers have fair and reliable market access.
Nebraska farmers and ranchers can compete with anyone in the world when they have a level playing field. I will keep fighting to ensure they can do just that.
