The numbers don't lie: prices are up and wages aren’t keeping up.
Trump promised affordability but he's only delivered rising gas prices, rising food prices, higher electricity bills, and an illegal war in Iran.
When asked if he is concerned about the latest inflation numbers that came out this morning, President Trump responded, “No, I love it. The numbers were great. You know what I really love? I love the inflation.”
“You know why? Because as soon as this war is over — you know, I can say it now,” Trump said. “So you know we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn't know about it? Iran until right now.”
Inflation topped 4% in May as the Consumer Price Index surged to its highest level in more than three years.
